Guidance of myoblast migration on aligned electrospun PLGA nanofibrous meshes
2019/11/27 21:20:00 admin
Aligned poly(L-lactide-r-glycolide) (PLGA) nanofibrous meshes were prepared by electrospinning technique. The surface patterns of the meshes were observed by SEM and the diameter distribution of the fibers was tested. C2C12 myoblasts were cultured on the electrospun fibers. The cell proliferations and migration of the patterns of aligned and random-oriented fibrous PLGA meshes were investigated. The results showed that the two surface patterns were favorable for cell adhesion and proliferation. The aligned fibers could guide the cells to migrate the fibrous direction. The aligned surface pattern was more efficient to accelerate the excretion of extracellular matrix. It provided a promising pattern technique to control the migration of cells. (C) 2011 Elsevier B.V.
