Nanostructural Fibroid TiO2/SnO2 Composites as Anode Materials for Lithium-Ion Batteries
2019/11/27 21:20:20 admin
Hierarchical TiO2/SnO2 nanocomposites as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries were fabricated by straightforward electrospinning technique and hydrothermal method in this study. Results showed that SnO2 nanoparticles were uniformly distributed on TiO2 nanofibers substrates without aggregation in the nanocomposites. The TiO2/SnO2 nanocomposites electrodes showed excellent reversible lithium storage capacity, rate capability and good cyclability mainly due to the particular architecture of the nanocomposites. The TiO2/SnO2 nanocomposites electrodes can facilitate lithium ion diffusion and provide effective mechanical support for the TiO2 core to alleviate the stress produced during dischargecharge cycling. Moreover the nanocomposites prevented the pulverization of the SnO2 nanoparticles. This method should be general to many other battery anode and cathode materials, providing a new and highly reproducible and controllable technique for improving battery performance.
